As an older mom of 4 young children, I understand the gap in quality healthcare for women as they navigate childbirth, those early postpartum years, and then perimenopause. I understand the excitement and fears of expecting your first baby. The beauty and the chaos of those early days and years. The unexpected pregnancy at age 42 (I see you, my beautiful, can't imagine life without you, 4th born). The need for quality sleep when 2-year-olds and night sweats are competing for your attention. The pelvic floor that just doesn’t feel right. The body that has changed. The brain fog. The search for a better way. The search for community.

I have 19+ years of experience as a physical therapist and bring my background as a Certified Functional Manual Therapist to women's health therapy. My passion is to help fill these gaps in quality healthcare for women. I want women to be as prepared as possible for labor/delivery through knowledge, understanding their body, and quality hands-on care. I want every woman to know that postpartum pelvic health therapy should be the norm and not the exception. I want women to know that postpartum doesn't have a time limit and pelvic health therapy can always be helpful. I want women to know that peeing their pants just a little isn’t normal and it can improve! I want women to experience life without pain. I want to support women in the sometimes messy middle of perimenopause. I want women to know what quality pelvic health therapy looks like. But, most of all I want women to know they are supported and it's always okay to ask for help. I believe deep in my core that women are rooted in strength and we are always better together!

I started Strongher Roots Pelvic Health and Wellness to support you - the woman, the first time mom, the mom of multiples, the mom who is a woman first, the woman who wants to be strong but can't quite get started, and the woman who feels lost and left behind.

I've got you. Let's build our community.

I love walking in the sunshine and exercising to feel strong. I am most at peace on water and love stand up paddle boarding and kayaking. I have a growing love of digging in the dirt and nurturing my garden. You can usually catch me with an earbud on and listening to an audiobook (I love everything from novels based on historical fiction to romantasy!). And I am profoundly honored to be called Mom by my four beautiful children.

I am certified as a:

  • Functional Manual Therapist through the Institute of Physical Art

  • Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist through Core Exercise Solutions

  • Perimenopause and Menopause Coaching Specialist through the Integrative Women's Health Institute

"I promise the care you get with me will be different than anything you have had before. I am so excited to work with you!"
